PRIVACY POLICY
This policy is written in plain English on purpose. It explains what Vector: Arcade Survival ("Vector") uses, where information goes, and what choices you have.

1. QUICK VERSION
- Vector does not require a Crosscurrent Studio account.
- Crosscurrent Studio does not operate a Vector backend and does not collect gameplay or personal data on its own servers.
- Vector does not use advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or data brokers.
- Game settings and progress are stored locally on your device.
- If you use Game Center, Apple handles your Game Center identity, friends, scores, leaderboards, and achievements.
- If you choose to open the Tip Jar, Vector opens a Buy Me a Coffee page outside the app.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Vector stores information needed to preserve your game experience, including:
- Local high scores
- Music and sound settings
- Achievement progress
- Pending leaderboard scores that have not yet been submitted to Game Center
- Small migration markers used to keep older and device-specific leaderboard scores consistent
This information is stored using Apple's on-device storage. Crosscurrent Studio does not receive it. It normally remains on your device until you reset the app's data or uninstall the app, although device backups may preserve it according to your Apple backup settings.
3. GAME CENTER
Vector supports Apple Game Center for leaderboards, achievements, friend leaderboards, and friend invitations. Game Center is optional, and gameplay does not require successful Game Center authentication.
When you use Game Center, Apple may provide Vector with information such as:
- Your Game Center player identifier and display name
- Your leaderboard score and rank
- Achievement progress
- Leaderboard entries from other players
- Your Game Center friends list, when you choose friends-only leaderboards or friend invitations
Vector uses this information only to authenticate with Game Center, submit and display scores, filter leaderboards, synchronize achievements, identify your own leaderboard entry, and support Game Center friend features.
Vector may label a score with the general device or input category used for that run, such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, or controller. This allows players to filter leaderboard results by device setup. The score and category are submitted to Apple through Game Center.
Crosscurrent Studio does not copy Game Center data to its own servers. Apple's handling of Game Center information is governed by [Apple's Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) and the privacy controls associated with your Apple Account and device.
TIP JAR AND STOREFRONT AVAILABILITY
Vector uses Apple's StoreKit service to read the current App Store storefront country so it can determine whether to show the optional Tip Jar. Crosscurrent Studio does not store the storefront country or send it to a Crosscurrent Studio server.
If you choose the Tip Jar, Vector opens Crosscurrent Studio's page on Buy Me a Coffee in your web browser. Buy Me a Coffee is a third-party service. Information you submit there is handled under [Buy Me a Coffee's Privacy Policy](https://buymeacoffee.com/privacy-policy) and may be made available to Crosscurrent Studio as part of the support transaction. Vector does not receive or store your payment-card details.
5. WHAT VECTOR DOES NOT COLLECT
Vector does not collect or use:
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
- Health or fitness data
- Advertising identifiers
- Browsing history
- Third-party analytics or advertising data
- Data for cross-app tracking or profiling
Crosscurrent Studio does not sell personal information collected through Vector because Vector does not collect personal information on Crosscurrent Studio servers.
6. WHERE INFORMATION GOES
Vector relies on:
- Your device, for local game settings and progress
- Apple, for Game Center, App Store storefront availability, and related platform services
- Buy Me a Coffee, only if you choose to open and use the external Tip Jar page
Vector does not include a Crosscurrent Studio analytics or gameplay backend.
7. RETENTION AND DELETION
- Local game data remains on your device until it is reset or the app is uninstalled, subject to your device backup settings.
- Game Center scores, achievements, player information, and friend relationships are retained and managed by Apple. You can manage Game Center through your Apple Account and device settings.
- Information submitted to Buy Me a Coffee is retained according to Buy Me a Coffee's policies and account controls.
- If you contact Crosscurrent Studio through its website, any information you provide may be retained as needed to respond to your message and maintain support records.
8. YOUR CHOICES
You can:
- Play Vector without signing in to Game Center
- Decline or revoke Game Center friends-list access
- Manage Game Center and Apple Account privacy settings through your device
- Avoid the external Tip Jar by not opening it
- Remove local game data by deleting the app, subject to your device backup settings
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Vector is not directed to children under 13, and Crosscurrent Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, Crosscurrent Studio will update the date at the top of the policy. Significant changes may also be communicated through the app or its App Store listing when appropriate.
